Autoworkscoll.com is the latest abusive domain sending me Spam to my Outlook account. Can you block them already?!

In the latest example of Microsoft's feckless policy of blocking domains which send tons of junk mail, autoworkscoll.com is averaging around 10 per day to my account.

I've used the Junk Mail setting to block both *@autoworkscoll.com and autoworkscoll.com. I've also ensure they are routed to my Junk Mail folder. I've also reported them for Spam.

Nothing is working!

Please block the domain immediately. It's clear they are are abusing their terms of use associated with the domain host.

Either that, or upgrade my account, so I can create a rule to block them outright myself.

But, please, do something!

This is pathetic.

    Dear P Fruit Trees,

Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A Forum!

I understand your frustration with the junk mail you're receiving from autoworkscoll.com, especially since your current settings aren't stopping them. I'm here to help you get this resolved.

While I can't directly access your account or change your settings, I can walk you through the most effective ways to block this spam and report it to the right people.

    1. Create a More Aggressive Rule in Outlook

You mentioned wanting a better way to block these emails. While blocking the sender in Junk Mail settings is a good first step, a more powerful rule can bypass that system and immediately delete the messages.

Here's how to create a rule in Outlook that sends messages from this domain straight to your Deleted Items folder:

    1. In your Outlook mailbox, go to Settings (the gear icon) and select View all Outlook settings.
    2. Click on Mail and then Rules.
    3. Select Add new rule.
    4. Give the rule a name, such as "Block autoworkscoll.com".
    5. Under Add a condition, select Sender address includes and type in autoworkscoll.com.
    6. Under Add an action, select Delete.
    7. Click Save.

This rule will automatically delete any new emails from this domain, preventing them from even reaching your Junk folder.

    2. Continue to Report Spam to Microsoft

Your reports are valuable because they help train Microsoft's spam filters to identify and block similar junk mail for all users. Please continue to use the Report Junk button in your Outlook toolbar for any new messages you receive from this sender.

I hope these steps help you regain control of your inbox. Please let me know how these suggestions work for you, or if you'd like further assistance.

    Warm regards,

    Sorry to disappoint Kal-D,

.autoworkscoll.com adds an additional [nonsense domain name] following the @‘ and then adds a variable 5+ character set between the [nonsense domain name] and their [.domain.com] so that it defeats the attempted block in outlook.

[MagicMushrooms@‘MagicMushrooms-njjdg.autoworkscoll.com] Random generated: -njjdg. … As of Thursday, Oct 30, 2025 1:46 PM, is different with every email they send out.

C(n, r) = n!/[r!(n - r)!] 26 letters, numbers 0-9, special characters? Six characters at a time. You get the picture? Not to mention the MagicMushrooms can be anything they want.

In addition to having attempted a [block] as you recommended I’ve already reported as scam and deleted all of their junk emails that I received from them today. Not that reporting emails as scams works. Plus, there’s a limit to the number of email addresses that I can block on outlook, I’ve already exceeded it once and cleaned it up and started over.

Other scammers have now caught on to this trick as well making the blocking feature more than useless.

Funny how gmail has it figured out and has all junk/scam emails blocked. This is why I use my msn.com address for throw away emails when domains sell my address.

Looks like Outlook has been fixed to accommodate for the blank domain name issue! If the full Junk folder still frustrates you, I'd suggest giving the "Select All > Block" maneuver another try!

Fingers crossed that it holds . . .
