New teams showing unread chats when there aren't any

I just switched to the new teams that combines chat messages and teams messages. The bubble is displaying a count of unread messages, but when I filter to only show the unread messages nothing is displayed and it says I'm all caught up. Scrolling also doesn't reveal any unread messages.

Move the bar to the right of Chats to the right and meeting Chats will show up.  Or hit the down arrow to the right of chats and meeting chats will show up below unread, channels, and chats.

Sorry for the spam but several people have mentioned the issue.

Maureen, thanks for the "reminder" to report back! Apparently if colleagues are using "at-Team" to tag you into a message then some of these messaage can add to your unread "Teams" count. So go to "Activity", select the "Unread" filter, use "Mark all as read" below "..." and magically your Teams unread count can be take back to zero.

I'm sure there is some logic to this but it eludes me, but my 3 mystery Teams messages have gone away now!

    Dear Sarah,

Yes, if you switch back to separate views in Microsoft Teams and then return to the combined view, the sections you created should still be there.

I hope the information helps! Looking forward to your response!

    Best regards,

    Inema

If I revert back to separate and then eventually go back to combined, will the sections I created still be there?
