Ah, ok. Missade ditt svar.

A collegue has had a problem with her Windows 10 box and I'm trying to help her.
When the machine starts, we see the ble windows flag and then the machine produces a mouse-pointer with the circle for waiting... And this goes on for hours. At most we had it a day, just to see if something indeed was happening.
I've then created a recovery USB stick using MediaCreationTool1803.exe
When trying to repair from this, it doesn't find anything to repair, but only to clean install. But when I check from the cmd, I see there are some info left, but maybe a pointer have been lost?
When I start CMD from the recovery USB stick, I'm on x:
C: points to an empty 'System' partition
D: points to the ESD_USB stick.
E: points to a partition where the old Win 10 installation seems to be located.
(F and G points to HP recovery points, but the machine originally had Windows 7 on it and I'd prefer not to perform a factory reset back to that, unless absolutely neccessary).
Does anyone have any ideas how I can repair this machine, so I can use the info on the E: partition?

Found a hint to use bcdboot and tried bcdboot e:\windows (e: being the driveletter for the windows volume).

Ok, bootrec /FixMbr works, however when I do a bootrec /FixBoot, I get Access denied...

Hello Z,
You have submitted your request to the Swedish Support. To receive support in English, please go to this website instead.
I’ll continue answering your question in Swedish now, so if Swedish is fine with you, keep reading!
chkdsk c: /f /r
Andreas
More info, using DiscPart from the recoverystick and checking with 'list volume', there is no 'boot' partition (Info column is empty)...
Will check if the bootrec is available.
