Trouble marking text in Word

Marking text with mouse behaves strange; when marking for example a Word or several Words, the marking disappears before I have time to take action. Not always though; sometimes it stays, often it doesn't. I have tried in File - Advanced - Editing alternatives to remove smart paragraph marking and smart pointing, and Automatic marking of Whole Words,, but that doesn't help. It is very annoying.

    I reistalled MS office 365, removed NVIDIA GeForce experience and System. it didn't work. I still have the updated NVIDIA driver, but I don't know how to replace it with the older one, if that should be the problem.

    I also suddenly got problems (before reinstalling 365) with my two screens; mouse wouldnt go to the other screen, where the settings were. i finally got out of it somehow, but have not dared to go back friom duplicated to two different screens.

    I will. I will also deinstall GeForce, which i got to update my NVIDIA driver. Could that be the problem? Or the NVIDIA driver itself?

    I tried to remove add-ins in both word and excel, but I don't know what they do, and it didn't help.

    Hi. Does this issue only happens only in word app?

    If repairing didn't fix the issue, try reinstalling the Microsoft 365.
