My girlfriend forgot her password to her microsoft account and she doesn't seem to receive the security code to her phone...

After entering the last four digits in "verify your identity" in order to receive a code to her phone, she gets "Try another verification method"..

Please help

    In this case, could you please help do this quick check:

    1. Confirm the phone number & region code
      • On the verification prompt, make sure the country/region is correct and the last digits match the
      • phone number in her Microsoft account.
      • Online/VoIP numbers (e.g., Google Voice) aren’t supported for codes—use a mobile number from a carrier.
    2. Retry with a different device/network/browser
      • Use a different phone or computer, switch off VPN/proxy, and try another browser (Edge/Chrome/Firefox).
      • Clear cookies/cache first to avoid a stuck session.
    3. Pause attempts if you’ve tried many times
      • Multiple requests can trigger a fraud‑block; wait 24–48 hours before trying again.
