My desktop display shows icons that are far too small to read easily. How can I change the display settings for the desktop only - other display settings are fine (on the web, or MS Word, Excel etc).

How do I create a second desktop that is blank?
I would like to setup a second desktop but when I do that the second desktop is an exact duplicate of my original desktop1. I would like the second desktop to be blank so I can move apps and folders etc over to it from desktop1.

desktop display
On 9/30/26 I accepted the recommended updates from Microsoft. When finished I noted that my desktop no longer displayed a slideshow of my photos. The display screen in settings no longer offers me this option. Can I fix this, and how do I go about it.
