MFA ERROR CANT GET CODE, CANT LOGIN ANY ACCOUNT OF MICROSOFT, WHY U MAKE MY LIFE SO HARD

If this is a Microsoft 365 business account and you are the only Global Administrator, open the Microsoft 365 Admin Account Recovery portal at https://aka.ms/cloud-admin-recovery from any device and complete tenant-ownership verification.^1^

Recover the existing business tenant

1. Open https://aka.ms/cloud-admin-recovery in a private browser window.
2. Enter the domain of the locked Microsoft 365 organization.
3. Complete the requested ownership checks. Be prepared to:
   • Add a DNS TXT record or otherwise prove control of the organization’s domain.
   • Provide subscription and billing information.
   • Provide the affected administrator username and tenant details.
4. Follow the resulting instructions to restore administrative access or reset MFA.

Do not publish billing information, passwords, verification codes, tenant identifiers, or domain-verification records in this public forum.

If another administrator exists

Ask another Global Administrator or Privileged Authentication Administrator to reset the affected administrator’s authentication information. Microsoft recommends having another appropriately privileged administrator because a locked Global Administrator cannot recover through the admin account itself.^2^

If the account was purchased through a Microsoft partner or reseller, ask that provider whether it has active delegated administration access and can restore access or open a Microsoft support request for the tenant.^3^

If the recovery portal cannot verify ownership

Since the automated phone path already failed, call again specifically to request a Microsoft 365 business tenant-access recovery case, not general login assistance. Microsoft lists these toll-free Indonesia numbers:

Use this wording:

I am locked out of my Microsoft 365 business tenant because MFA codes are unavailable. I am the only Global Administrator and cannot open a request from the admin center. Please create a tenant-access recovery case and, where available, escalate it to the Data Protection or tenant-recovery team.

For an automated menu, select or say:

• Authenticator
• Office 365 for Business
• Company account
• Administrator: Yes
• Other administrators: No
• Create a service request: Yes

The team name and menu can vary by region. Tenant recovery requires identity and organization-ownership verification; support cannot simply bypass MFA.^5^

Error 715-123280 is a separate purchase problem

This code is associated in Microsoft Q&A with a failed Microsoft 365 Business purchase or new-tenant provisioning attempt. Record the complete error screen, including any Event ID, SID, and correlation value, and give those details to Microsoft billing/purchase support.^6^

Buying another subscription or creating another tenant will not recover the OneDrive data held in the locked tenant. Prioritize recovery of the existing tenant. If a reseller originally sold the subscription, ask the reseller to open the support case on the affected tenant.

If this is a personal Microsoft account instead

Do not use the business-tenant recovery process. At sign-in:

1. Select Sign in another way and use any previously registered alternate email, phone, or Authenticator method.
2. If none is accessible, select I don’t have any of these and follow the recovery prompts.
3. Stop making repeated code requests for now. Excessive attempts can produce a temporary block; Microsoft recommends waiting at least 24 hours before trying again and possibly longer if the block remains.^7^

After business access is restored, create at least two cloud-only emergency administrator accounts with securely stored, phishing-resistant authentication so another MFA failure cannot lock out the entire tenant.^8^
