This usually happens when the same installer is used for both products, or when an existing Microsoft 365 install or trial is still on the device. To get the standalone Office Home 2024 install:

1. Confirm the license is attached to the correct Microsoft account.
   • If this was a first-time purchase with a product key, redeem it at https://microsoft365.com/setup.
   • After redemption, the license should be associated with the Microsoft account used there.
2. Sign in to the Microsoft account that owns Office Home 2024.
   • Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page.
   • Find Office Home 2024 and select Install.
3. If Microsoft 365 keeps appearing, remove the existing Office installation first.
