Autoworkscoll.com is the latest abusive domain sending me Spam to my Outlook account. Can you block them already?!

In the latest example of Microsoft's feckless policy of blocking domains which send tons of junk mail, autoworkscoll.com is averaging around 10 per day to my account.

I've used the Junk Mail setting to block both *@autoworkscoll.com and autoworkscoll.com. I've also ensure they are routed to my Junk Mail folder. I've also reported them for Spam.

Nothing is working!

Please block the domain immediately. It's clear they are are abusing their terms of use associated with the domain host.

Either that, or upgrade my account, so I can create a rule to block them outright myself.

But, please, do something!

This is pathetic.

    This is NOT a fix. It will NOT keep SPAM out of your Inbox or Junk folders.

    It is a manual process to help you pick out SPAM emails from your Junk folder so you can then mass delete them. It is an advanced technique for people who know how to form SQL like queries only.

    @christine westbrook

    searched autoworks , select all and delete ... more of a problem with Cloudstorage or newsletter spam ... much harder to weed out and delete the spam from those.

    This is a write-up I did for a similar thread on how to build and re-use an advanced Search string to help you pick out the SPAM from your Junk folder. Advanced Query Search can get very specific with AND and OR logic. Hope it is some help in your battle for those false positives.

    First build a plain text file that contains an "Advanced Query Search" (AQS). See below.

    When you want to run the query:

    1. Open your query file and and select and copy all the text. (Ctrl-a, Ctrl-c)
    2. Switch to your New Outlook window.
    3. Open the Junk folder. (Ctrl-y, "J", Enter)
    4. Clear the Outlook Search bar. (F3, Esc Esc, F3)
    5. Paste the AQS text into the Search bar and execute. (Ctrl-v, Enter)
    6. If all the listed emails are what you wanted, select them all (Ctrl-a) and delete (Del)
    7. Clear the Outlook Search bar. (F3, Esc Esc)

    ! Watch Out - If Outlook can't find anything in the Junk folder it will automatically do an "All Folders" search.

    Keep it handy:

    1. Right-click on the Junk folder and choose "Open in new window".
    2. Setup your AQS Search.
    3. Whenever you need to run it - Switch to the Junk Window, focus on the Search Bar (F3), and execute (Enter).

    AQS Example

    (
    	(subject:"You")	AND	(subject:"Winner")
    	AND
    	(from:"Lowe's")
    )
    OR (
    	(subject:"free")
    	AND
    	(body:"6101 Long Prairie Rd")
    	AND
    	(from:"classics.saultstryders.com")
    )
    OR (
    	(subject:"you" AND subject:"payment")
    	AND
    	(from:"@bkslqdadeikc.us")
    )

    Looks like Outlook has been fixed to accommodate for the blank domain name issue! If the full Junk folder still frustrates you, I'd suggest giving the "Select All > Block" maneuver another try!

    Fingers crossed that it holds . . .

    Sorry to disappoint Kal-D,

    .autoworkscoll.com adds an additional [nonsense domain name] following the @‘ and then adds a variable 5+ character set between the [nonsense domain name] and their [.domain.com] so that it defeats the attempted block in outlook.

    [MagicMushrooms@‘MagicMushrooms-njjdg.autoworkscoll.com] Random generated: -njjdg. … As of Thursday, Oct 30, 2025 1:46 PM, is different with every email they send out.

    C(n, r) = n!/[r!(n - r)!] 26 letters, numbers 0-9, special characters? Six characters at a time. You get the picture? Not to mention the MagicMushrooms can be anything they want.

    In addition to having attempted a [block] as you recommended I’ve already reported as scam and deleted all of their junk emails that I received from them today. Not that reporting emails as scams works. Plus, there’s a limit to the number of email addresses that I can block on outlook, I’ve already exceeded it once and cleaned it up and started over.

    Other scammers have now caught on to this trick as well making the blocking feature more than useless.

    Funny how gmail has it figured out and has all junk/scam emails blocked. This is why I use my msn.com address for throw away emails when domains sell my address.
