The steps to switch your Windows 11 PC from a Microsoft Family account to a personal or individual Microsoft account, or to change your Microsoft 365 subscription from Family to Personal depend on which change you want to make.

To switch your Windows 11 user account to a different Microsoft account, switch to a local account first. Open Settings, select Accounts, and click Your info. Select Sign in with a local account instead, enter your current password or PIN to confirm your identity, and follow the prompts to create a temporary local username and password. Click Sign out and finish when prompted.

After signing back in with your local account, return to Settings > Accounts > Your info and select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead. Enter the email address and password for your personal Microsoft account, verify your identity, and follow the remaining prompts to link the account to Windows 11.

To switch a Microsoft 365 Family subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal, if your Family subscription has expired or you want to move to the individual plan, go to https://account.microsoft.com and sign in with the Microsoft account associated with your subscription. Find your current or expired Microsoft 365 Family subscription and select Manage, or cancel the subscription if it is still active and you no longer want it to renew.

If the option is available, choose to switch to a plan with fewer features and select Microsoft 365 Personal. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase or activate your new Personal subscription. If the Family subscription has already expired, you may need to purchase a new Personal subscription rather than switch plans directly.

Note that changing the Microsoft account used to sign in to Windows 11 is separate from changing your Microsoft 365 subscription. You can use a personal Microsoft account to sign in to Windows while maintaining a Microsoft 365 Family subscription, or keep the same Windows sign-in account while switching your subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal.

The process to switch from the Microsoft Family subscription is provided on the link below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/subscriptions/switch-between-microsoft-365-subscriptions

Basically you need to disable the recurring billing on your current subscription by going to your account on this link (https://account.microsoft.com/services/) click Manage on the subscription and from there you can disable that.

Then, when your subscription expires, you then need to take out a new subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal:

Provided you use the exact same Microsoft 365 account for the new subscription, you will still have access to all your files and the same 1TB of OneDrive storage.
