There is a bug in the "Dark Mode -System Default" of the Android Edge Browser

This problem has existed for a long time.

Bug reproduction steps: Open the "Dark Mode - System Default" and "General - (when starting edge) Continue browsing from the left position" on edge, enable the Android system dark mode, search for any problem, and keep edge on the search results page. Finally, clear the edge backend task (completely exit edge).

Turn off the dark mode of the Android system (switch to light mode), and then open Edge. You will get a page like the screenshot I provided. Most of the interface is still in dark mode, only the function bar switches to light mode.

The switch between "light color mode" and "dark color mode" is the same, and the color of the middle page is always the opposite result.

Note: This issue does not exist when the edge is running, when the edge is on the homepage, or when the edge stays on a webpage.

This issue exists when the edge is stuck on the search results page.

Please check and test if this issue is also present on Beta and Dev builds that you can download and install via the Play Store (if available). Another alternative is to downgrade to a lower Stable build.

Good day, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. Is this happening on the previous version of the browser or it just happened on the recent one? Have you already tried to uninstall and reinstall it as well?

Thank you for your reply. This problem exists in the current version, and you can reproduce it by following the steps I mentioned.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem still exists, and it has existed since I used edge. I used to try to submit logs on the edge and this issue, but unfortunately, after a month or two, no one replied to me.

It is worth noting that the latest version seems to have resolved this issue on the webpage, but not solve on the search results page.

我确定这是edge的问题，此问题存在很久了。

bug复现步骤：打开edge”深色模式-系统默认值“和”常规-（启动edge时）从离开的位置继续浏览“，开启安卓系统深色模式，搜索任意问题，将edge停留在搜索结果页面。最后清除edge后台任务（完全退出edge）。

关闭安卓系统深色模式（切换为浅色模式），再打开 edge，你就会得到我提供的截图那样的页面，大部分界面还是深色模式，只有功能栏切换为浅色模式。

反过来操作”浅色模式-深色模式“切换也是一样的，中间的页面颜色永远都是相反的结果。

注意：当edge正在运行时，当edge在首页时，当edge进入某个网页停留时，此问题不存在。

当edge停留在搜索结果页面时，此问题存在。
