Hello, I apologize if I did not write the tag correctly.

Microsoft is truly a joke when it comes to account recovery, bravo!

Another account of ours is stuck with our old phone number, and when we try to log in, it asks for our password.

So far, no problems, but when I mixed up my password with my old one and entered it incorrectly two or three times, it locked the account as if mockingly.

Now, even though I've logged in with my correct password, it asks me to verify it. And guess what, it sends a code to my old phone number. How can I access it?

Anyway, when I say I don't have these methods, which is the other option, it makes me fill out a form, and guess what, Microsoft doesn't like my information.

Now, I have to ask: can account recovery really be this ridiculous? I can't get support from Microsoft because they don't even have an email address!

All it has to do is send a verification code to my Gmail account. Sending verification to the email address the account is linked to shouldn't be this difficult! I'm really frustrated; people have work to do and don't have time to deal with this nonsense.

If there is anyone among you who has experienced this stupid situation like me and was able to solve it, I would be grateful to that person. Note: I don't own the account; I'm a family member. However, I have all the information, and even though we've tried it from every device in the house, Microsoft still sees us as ghosts.

Good evening. I followed step 1, then step 2. Step 2 is the most frustrating, as the information I provided was deemed insufficient by Microsoft three times.

However, I haven't tried step 3. I plan to try it and respond here again. Thank you for your support.
