If your Microsoft account has two-factor authentication turned on, use an App password by following the instructions below.

Click Advanced Security Options, scroll to App Passwords.

Please generate a new app password and make sure to use that instead of your regular password in Apple Mail.

You can try to add your Outlook account manually using IMAP

Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add account > Other

Add mail Account

Enter your Display name, full Outlook email address and password

Click Sign in then Next to proceed with the server settings manually using the details below.

Incoming: imap-mail.outlook.com (port 993, SSL)

Outgoing: smtp-mail.outlook.com (port 587, TLS)

Make sure to use your full email address and password.

I managed to add my Outlook account in the app. All my folders are complete. But my folders in my Outlook in Apple mail are stlll empty.

I already have that app. But I use that for my work. I tried to add an account but I can not. If I click on add account it add my Skype account automatically and I not find a way to change it. I really getting headache from all this.
