Windows explorer tree view expands at the bottom, not at the top as it used to be

Hi,
is there a way to set Windows Explorer in Windows 7 RTM (version from MSDNAA) when I expand some folder it expands and the selected folder is at the bottom of the pane, and I always have to scroll up to see the contents (that's why I expanded it right? to
see what is inside), and in older Windows it expanded and folder was always at the top of the screen.
Is there a way to make it work that way in Win7? To be honest, it makes using Windows Explorer almost impossible for me, simply because it makes me mad when I always have to scroll to see the folder I just opened.

I have the same problem. How did this thread get marked with a green check - I see no resolution to the posted problem. I also see the same thing happening in the Registry Editor. Win7 Home Premium upgrade from Vista Home Premium/Ver 6.1 (Build 7600)

It is not fixed in the final version. I have retail Windows 7 Professional and it is still there, clear as day.
Further to my original comments, I have discovered that this happens with keyboard navigation too...
- Click a folder - any folder that has children
- Press the right arrow on the keyboard.

It's just beyond believe that microsoft will not address this issue properly. Telling people this is a feature is an affront. Again, at best.
