Ouvrez le CMD et exécutez :
taskkill /f /im SearchHost.exe
Windows le redémarre automatiquement en quelques secondes.
Your system does not have the Microsoft.Windows.Search AppX package installed.
Since Search Highlights is deprecated in your build, the new UI uses:
Spotlight cards
Dynamic Search Feed
Web suggestions
Activity signals
Try enabling Spotlight (this often replaces highlights):
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CloudContent" /v DisableWindowsSpotlight /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Spotlight" /v EnableWindowsSpotlight /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
Then restart SearchHost.exe.
This sometimes activates the new Search feed, which visually resembles highlights.
Try this instead:
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Windows.Search
Check if the package version is 2024.x or 2025.x.
Run this and check for “Highlights feed” capability
Still in PowerShell:
Get-ItemProperty "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search" | Select-Object *
Do you see these values?
IsDynamicSearchEnabledIsFeedEnabledIsHighlightsChannelAvailableCortanaModelIdIf yes, are they set to 0 or empty?
You have to restart Search Host so it reads the new policies
Run:
taskkill /f /im SearchHost.exe
Then sign out and sign in, or restart the PC.
