Starting with the question: Is there a way to get in contact with an actual support person to assist in this process?
This is due to the automated (AI assistant and phone) and online options failing.
Below will be the description of the situation.
Trying to recover an account due to detected unusual activity. Email has not been lost. Password has not been lost. The account is over a decade old and as such giving precise dates is a little difficult. (it is an old hotmail account)
Active use in any shape or form is generally unusual activity as it is primarily an used as an email for accounts with other services little to no outbound use or directly logging into it unless email verification is needed. This account has been used on multiple devices over the years due to replacements.
The issue is that the account recovery procedure will not work due to having insufficient information to verify user ID. There are several fields throughout the form that are mandatory to fill in that I am confident are not on the account at all and others that have never been associated with the account such as credit card information, address, etc.
There is also a section on emails for which sent emails if they happened were so long ago and for inconsequential enough things that they have long since left memory and the duration of which the account has been inaccessible recent emails could only be guessed at.
This recovery has been pursued a few times over the last year or so running into the same problem.
Phoning support gets terminated before reaching anyone citing the online form with no further options.
The AI assistant when told that the form is asking for information the account doesn't have it tells me to guess, how do you guess and empty field? I kept trying with the AI but it got stuck in a circle of suggesting the same things.
I do have access to a service with a privated account that has a purchase history I could verify dates and products that should have email receipts in the account.
I have the full email of the recovery account but that is also in the same issue (No interest in recovering this account)
I can give a short list of services that should have correspondence in the account.
