I thought the auto renewing for office 360 was cancelled last billing because I never use it. This year I get 2 charges a premium and a regular. Can you please help me with these charges?

    Hi Judy,

    1

Log into any Microsoft account you may have on this link.

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

Do you find any active Microsoft 365 subscription linked to any account you may have, if so, click Manage beside the subscription and from there, cancel the subscription and ensure you disable the recurring billing on the subscription.

You may then be entitled to a refund, you can check your eligibility to a refund using the steps provided on this link.

If you do not find any active Microsoft 365 subscription on any Microsoft account you may have, this forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

Possible reasons for the two charges are:

    1. The subscription was not fully canceled. A charge can still happen if cancellation was done too close to the billing date. Microsoft states cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date. Check Services & subscriptions and confirm the subscription end date.
    2. Recurring billing is still active on another Microsoft account. If only one charge appears in order history, another account in the household may be using the same card.
    3. A previously declined payment was retried, which can make charges appear close together.
    4. Multiple subscription purchases can appear as separate transactions.

    Steps to investigate:

    1. Sign in and review order history for multiple purchases of the same amount close together.
    2. Go to the Manage your payments page in the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate to look into unrecognized charges and check whether another account is using the same payment method.
    3. Check Services & subscriptions to confirm whether the Microsoft 365 subscription is still active and whether the cancellation happened more than 2 days before the billing date.
    4. If the charge is not recognized, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent more charges if the card may be compromised.
    5. If the issue is still unresolved, use Contact Support and choose Get Help, then Contact Support for billing assistance.

If the subscription was purchased through a third-party retailer instead of Microsoft, cancellation and billing must be handled with that retailer.
