I am completely unable to get help unlocking my micorsoft education account

I run a code club and have a Minecraft for education account. In order to have this I had to setup a business account.

Today, when I tried to login to minecraft for education I discovered the authenticator app had logged itself out so I could not complete MFA. I have the option to login to the authenticator app but that wont work because it also wants 2fa. I'm stuck in a loop.

Unfortunately, that same account is what is used to login to the "business" account so I can't login and reset anything. I'm completely unable to login to the account and have spent the past 2 hours going around in circles on the microsoft website trying to submit a support ticket. It seems I have to login in order to be able to submit a support ticket which I cannot do because of the mfa problem.

I've tried phoning the UK support number 0800 026 0329 but it just seems to think this is an xbox problem and refuses to go any further.

I can't find any way to submit a support ticket to get help.

What do I do?

Dear @Daniel Bloy ,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

First of all, I would like to clarify that this is a community forum where users help one another. No one here, including myself, has access to your Microsoft 365 tenant, account details, billing information, Micrsoft product or authentication settings.

You could refer to this question answered by a support agent here: Please reset MFA for my account

Since this issue involves a Minecraft Education for Commercial subscription and access to the associated Microsoft Entra ID administrator account, I recommend contacting Minecraft Education Support directly through the following page: Minecraft Education Support Center

The Minecraft Education Support team is best positioned to help identify the account associated with the subscription, review the Microsoft Authenticator access issue, and advise you on the appropriate recovery steps.

You can submit a support request directly using this secure form: Submit a Minecraft Education support request

When completing the form, please provide any account information you remember, along with the subscription confirmation, renewal email, order number, or invoice details. These details may help the support team identify the correct subscription and organization.

For security reasons, please do not share passwords, verification codes, payment details, invoices, or other sensitive information publicly in this Community thread.

I hope this information helps.
