profile picture not updating

I have a personal Hotmail account. I changed my profile photograph multiple times..

My Microsoft account profile and Outlook both display my new photograph correctly, but people receiving my emails are still seeing my old photograph.

This is particularly concerning because the old photograph is from when I was 14, and I am now 29.

please can anyone help me

    Hi @Tameera Richardson

    I completely understand why this would be concerning, especially since the photo being displayed is from when you were much younger.

    Since your new profile picture is already showing correctly on your Microsoft account and in Outlook, the old picture may be coming from the recipient’s saved contact information. Outlook can display a photo that someone has previously assigned to a contact.

    Could you please ask one of the affected recipients to check whether your Hotmail address is saved in their Outlook contacts with the old picture? If so, they can remove or update the picture and save the contact again.

    If the old photo is also visible to recipients who do not have you saved as a contact, please let us know which email service or app they are using, such as Outlook.com, Outlook desktop, Gmail, or another service. This will help narrow down where the old photo is being retrieved from.
