GeForce NOW in Microsoft Edge on Xbox Series S is not officially confirmed as a supported GeForce NOW setup, so first determine whether the “LG webOS” page is an unsupported-device notice or an incorrect redirect.

    Check the exact message

    1. Take a photo or write down the complete message and page address.
    2. If it says the device/browser is unsupported, there is no documented Xbox setting that enables GeForce NOW. Xbox Edge can browse, play videos, and run some browser games, but that does not mean every cloud-gaming service supports the console browser.^1^
    3. If it unexpectedly opens an LG webOS page, close that tab and manually return to NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW site.^2^ Do not install unofficial apps or change console settings suggested by random download sites.

If the LG page appears again

Treat it as a possible browser-site detection or stored-site-data issue rather than proof that the Xbox is running LG software:

    • Open the site in an InPrivate Edge tab on the Xbox.
    • If it works there, clear the NVIDIA/GeForce NOW cookies and site data in Edge, then sign in again.
    • If it still fails, record the exact error and report it through Edge → Settings and more (…) → Help and feedback → Send feedback. Testing InPrivate and submitting Edge feedback are standard ways to separate stored browser data from a compatibility problem.^3^

    Supported alternatives

    • Use GeForce NOW on a device listed or offered by NVIDIA.
    • If the “LG webOS” reference came from instructions for a television, launch GeForce NOW directly on the compatible LG TV, not through the Xbox. LG documents support only for selected television models.^4^
    • Xbox also documents third-party cloud-gaming services, but that does not establish Xbox-console Edge as a supported GeForce NOW client.^5^

The exact wording or a photo of the LG message would identify whether this is an unsupported-device block or a bad redirect.
