I have filled out the account recovery form and they asked for additional info but didn’t state where to send the information as the form dosent give options to do so. I have all the information to prove the account is mine I have the email receipt of purchase made on the account, my bank details, the date I made the account, when I bought the game, ip address. What more do they need I have been trying to get an actual response for weeks now but everything is automated. I really hope Microsoft takes tips from steam to improve their service.

I wonder if you might fill out the wrong form. There are three different forms related to account recovery, but they are for different scenarios.
To help me identify which form you have filled out, can you please provide the following information:
I’ve completed the account recovery form a few times - https://account.live.com/acsr?cs=1 this the url they sent me to fill out. I did fill out another form aswell but I forgot what that one was called.

So that link is the wrong form.
the first email address you provided means you had filled out the “recover my account” form. That’s the correct form for account takeover.
If you have received any follow up from that address please reply to that one .
I have not received any follow-up yet and am I supposed to send the additional information to the direct email?
You said you had received email from [email protected], can you tell me if this is just a confirmation telling you it can take 5 business days to get back or did they ask you for more info?
Ok I’ll send the additional information to the original email of them asking for the additional information and I’ll wait another 5 days till Friday I guess.
