    Hi Thomas,

Log into any Microsoft account you may have on this link:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

You should find the subscription listed there, click the Manage button beside the subscription.

From there, you can cancel the subscription, and ensure you disable the recurring billing on the subscription to avoid any future payments on the subscription.

Then you cancel the subscription you may then be entitled to a refund, you can check your eligibility to a refund using the steps provided on this link.

Cancel the Microsoft 365 subscription from the Microsoft account that purchased it; the cancellation page will automatically determine whether the $9.99 charge qualifies for a refund.

    Cancel and request the refund

    1. Open Microsoft Services & subscriptions.
    2. Sign in with the Microsoft account used to purchase Microsoft 365.
    3. Select Cancel subscription; it may appear as Upgrade or Cancel.
    4. Review the cancellation page and select I don't want my subscription.
    5. If eligible, follow the displayed refund instructions. Refund eligibility is determined automatically during cancellation—not all cancellations generate a refund.[^1^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "Microsoft subscription refund policy | Microsoft Support")

In most cases, an initial purchase may qualify if cancelled within 30 days or before the first recurring billing date, whichever occurs sooner. The most recent recurring charge may qualify when cancelled within 30 days after payment, limited to one refund per Microsoft account and subscription product.[^1^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "Microsoft subscription refund policy | Microsoft Support")

If the cancellation option is missing

Microsoft Q&A cannot access the account, cancel the subscription, or issue the refund directly.
