Submit a Microsoft 365 billing-support request from the admin center, specifying the exact Microsoft legal entity shown on your invoice and requesting its 2026 Certificate of Tax Residence for Singapore.
1. Confirm the invoicing entity
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with at least the Billing Administrator role.
- In Dashboard view, open Billing → Bills & payments. In Simplified view, select Products → View invoices.
- Select the relevant invoice, then choose Download → Download invoice.
- Record the full Microsoft legal entity printed on the PDF invoice. ^1^
For APAC accounts billed by the Microsoft Regional Sales office, the invoice shows Microsoft Regional Sales Pte. Ltd.; do not assume this is your entity unless that exact name appears on your invoice. ^2^
2. Open the secure request
An administrator should:
- Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Select Help & support at the lower right.
- Enter 2026 Certificate of Tax Residence request.
- If the suggested results do not resolve it, select the Contact Support headset icon.
- Choose email or phone, confirm the contact details, and submit the case. These business-support methods require an administrator and at least one subscription purchased directly from Microsoft. If all subscriptions were purchased through a partner, request the certificate from that partner instead. ^3^
Include the following in the case:
- Microsoft legal entity exactly as printed on the invoice
- Requested document: Certificate of Residence / Certificate of Tax Residence for tax year 2026
- Tax residence requested: Singapore
- Your organization’s country or tax jurisdiction
- Applicable DTAA/treaty countries
- Purpose: withholding-tax relief or exemption
- Billing account or invoice number
- Request for an official digital PDF
- Whether the tax authority also requires the entity’s TIN/UEN documentation
Do not post invoice numbers, tenant details, tax IDs, or account identifiers publicly.
A matching 2026 request for Microsoft Regional Sales Pte. Ltd., including a Singapore-issued certificate for treaty and withholding-tax purposes, was fulfilled through a private message rather than posted publicly. ^4^
Suggested case text:
Please provide the official 2026 Certificate of Tax Residence for [Microsoft entity exactly as shown on invoice], tax resident in Singapore. The certificate is required by [country and tax authority] to apply the [country]–Singapore DTAA and support reduced withholding-tax rates or exemption. Please provide the official PDF and, if available and required, supporting TIN/UEN documentation. Relevant invoice or billing account details are attached securely to this support case.
A normal tax invoice is useful for identifying the seller but is not a substitute for the requested residency certificate.
