I need to switch my new Laptop from an MS 365 Demo to my purchased MS 365 Personal license

I purchased an HP laptop from Best Buy which has a one-month demo of MS 365 Family installed. At the same time, I also purchased a license for 365 Personal. I have entered the product code for 365 Personal, but Microsoft will not activate it until the 1-month Family demo expires. I want to switch from the MS 365 Family demo to my Personal product immediately. Please help.
