Azure subscription disabled after security review, and the support form won’t open to appeal Body

My Azure subscription was disabled (state: Disabled) after what the notice describes as a suspected abuse or security review. I believe this is an error and want to request a review and reinstatement.

Background

I use the subscription for personal lab work: Microsoft Entra, Intune, and Azure Arc onboarding of local virtual machines.

The suspension notice says the subscription will be deleted on December 4, 2026, so this is time sensitive.

The notice came from a no-reply address, so I can’t reply to it.

The problem

The reactivation link in the email and the Azure portal’s “Create a support request” flow both end up on the generic “Support + troubleshooting” page. The ticket form never opens.

I get the same result in two different browsers.

The automated “Account Review” diagnostic only says the subscription is in a Disabled state and doesn’t name a cause.

Separately, my personal Microsoft account fails Azure sign-in with “Selected user account does not exist in tenant ‘Microsoft Services’”.

What I’ve tried

Signed in to the portal with my lab tenant account.

Used the email’s reactivation link and the portal’s direct support-request path.

Tried a different browser and cleared cookies.

What I’m asking

How can I reach the subscription reactivation or fraud review team when the portal’s support flow is unavailable?

Can someone from Microsoft or the community escalate this, or point me to a working contact channel?

I can provide the subscription ID, tenant details and case information privately if Microsoft staff ask. Thanks for any help.

For a subscription disabled after a security review, the supported path is to create a Subscription management support request and ask for Re-enable my subscription review. There is no documented direct public contact channel for the fraud or security review team in the provided material.

Since the normal flow is looping back to Support + troubleshooting, use this path in the Azure portal:

    1. Open the Azure support experience at https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade/~/overview.
    2. Select Create a support request.
    3. If Support AI Assistant appears, switch to the old or classic experience.
    4. Search for re-enable subscription.
    5. Select Subscription management.
    6. Select the disabled subscription.
    7. When suggested solutions appear, select Create a support request at the top. Do not stay on the suggested article page.
    8. Set:
      • Problem type: Re-enable my subscription
      • Problem subtype: Could not reactivate by self-service
    9. If the portal shows solutions again, use Return to support request.
    10. Continue through Additional details and Review + create, then submit the request.

Expected result: an automated email should arrive within a few minutes, and support should follow up after the case is created.

If a support request still cannot be opened, the documented next step is to contact the tenant administrator or the owner of the Microsoft support agreement to verify support access and entitlement. For a public technical question, Microsoft Q&A is also listed as a self-help route, without posting confidential or tenant-specific data.

For the separate sign-in issue where the wrong account or tenant is being selected, these documented checks can help:

    1. Clear browser cache and cookies.
    2. Use a private browsing session.
    3. Verify the correct Azure directory from the account menu in the top-right corner of the Azure portal.

If the subscription was blocked because it became unused, Microsoft documents that assistance is required to unblock it, and warns that data loss can occur if the subscription is not unblocked before deletion.
