Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello, I understand your concern.
Please see below for other things that you can also check when adding a payment method.
- Enter your name precisely as it appears on the card and only include your middle initial if it appears on your card.
- If this is a company card, enter the company name as both a first name and last name. For example, if the company name is "My Company" you may split the company name into the first and last name fields.
- If the company only has one name, for example, "Company," enter the company name in both the first and last name fields.
- If you are asked to enter the address and it exceeds the Address 1 field, use the Address 2 field and do not shorten or abbreviate your address.
- The card number and type cannot be edited, so if you make a mistake, you'll need to add a new one with the correct information. Other credit card information can be edited, such as billing address and expiration date.
- Other factors such as, card issuer fraud block, 3-D Secure/online payment restriction, family-card name mismatch, temporary authorization hold, or regional/payment-method limitations can also affect this.
If you will encounter an issue, you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ or use the Get Help app on your PC and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there.
