contacted and cancelled subscription promptly

The subscription was cancelled, I did notify Microsoft immediately as the programme wasn't suitable for me. I didn't expect to be charged. I believed the credit would proceed.

    Hi,

    Once you successfully subscribe to a subscription, you will be charged immediately. However, since you cancelled it right away, you should be eligible for a refund. Refunds are usually processed within 3–5 business days after cancellation.
