Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Because the renewal is missing from the order history you already checked, open Manage your payments, select Investigate, and use the charged card to locate the transaction and the Microsoft account associated with it.^1^
Locate the charge and print the receipt
- Open Microsoft’s Manage your payments page and sign in.
- Select Investigate.
- Enter the requested details for the credit card charged on October 18, 2026.
- If the transaction is found under another Microsoft account, sign in to that account’s order history.
- Open the completed renewal and select Order details → Print. The printed order details serve as the invoice/receipt.^2^
Do not post the card number, security code, account email, or other payment details in this public forum.
If Microsoft did not bill the subscription directly
Check the merchant description on the card statement and the renewal email. Microsoft 365 subscriptions purchased through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or another retailer are billed and managed by that provider, so the receipt must be obtained from that provider.[^3^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "Where can I manage my Microsoft 365 subscription? | Microsoft Support")
On the Microsoft subscription page, options such as Manage, Cancel, or Change payment indicate that Microsoft manages the billing. Missing or limited management options can indicate third-party billing.
Contact billing support by chat
If Investigate cannot locate the charge:
- Open Microsoft customer support.
- Select Get help for a personal account.
- Enter Microsoft 365 renewal charge missing from order history; receipt required.
- Select Contact Support when offered.
- Choose Microsoft 365 and Office, then the billing or payment category.
- Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser if available.
Chat and callback options depend on the product, scenario, operating hours, and subscription.^4^
Provide the agent privately with the charge date, amount, card’s last four digits, and renewal email. If neither Microsoft nor the relevant retailer can identify the transaction, contact the card issuer to investigate it.
