I have been unable to connect my hearing aids to this computer. Will you please provide instructions?

Can you right click on your Windows Settings > BLuetooth & devices > Devices. Scroll down a bit, in the "Device settings" section, do you see "Use LE Audio when available", if so, make sure it is turned on.

If for any reason you cannot find the "Use LE Audio when available" option, it means your computer's hardware is not compatible.

Direct connection will work only if both the Audibel mRIC R and this Windows 11 PC support Bluetooth LE Audio, so check that compatibility before trying to pair again.^1^

    1. Check whether the computer supports LE Audio

    1. Open Start → Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Devices.
    2. Scroll to Device settings.
    3. Look for Use LE Audio when available:
      • Present: turn it On, then continue to step 2 below.
      • Missing: the PC does not currently support LE Audio. This can result from incompatible hardware or missing/incompatible manufacturer drivers.^2^

The PC requires Windows 11, compatible Bluetooth and audio hardware, and LE Audio-capable drivers from its manufacturer. Ordinary Bluetooth LE support does not necessarily include LE Audio.^2^

    If the option is missing:

    1. Open Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates and install available updates.
    2. Obtain the latest Windows 11 Bluetooth and audio drivers for the exact computer model from the computer manufacturer.
    3. Restart and check for Use LE Audio when available again.^3^

If the setting remains unavailable, direct hearing-aid audio is not supported by that PC’s current hardware/driver configuration.

    2. Confirm that this Audibel mRIC R generation supports LE Audio

“mRIC R” describes a product style used across different Audibel generations, so the name alone does not establish LE Audio support. Check the exact model’s specifications or manual for the words Bluetooth LE Audio—not merely Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Made for iPhone (MFi), or ASHA.

Use Audibel’s product-manual lookup, or ask the hearing-care professional who supplied the aids to confirm both:

    • Whether this exact model supports Bluetooth LE Audio
    • How to place it into discoverable/pairing mode^4^

MFi and ASHA are proprietary hearing-aid technologies and are not LE Audio. A hearing aid using only those standards cannot stream directly through Windows 11’s LE Audio hearing-device support.^1^

    3. Pair again when both devices support LE Audio

Because the aids appear but pairing fails, remove the incomplete entry before placing them back into pairing mode:

    1. Charge both hearing aids.
    2. Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices.
    3. Find each Audibel entry, select … → Remove device.
    4. Use the Audibel model’s documented procedure to make both aids discoverable.
    5. On the taskbar, select the Network, Sound, or Battery area.
    6. Select the arrow beside Bluetooth to open Manage Bluetooth devices.
    7. Under New devices, select the hearing aids.
    8. If Windows asks to connect the second hearing aid, select Connect. Pairing can take several seconds.^1^

If pairing still fails despite confirmed LE Audio support

Install the Bluetooth driver supplied specifically for the computer model rather than relying only on a generic driver:

    1. Identify the computer’s manufacturer and exact model.
    2. From its official support site, install the latest Windows 11 Bluetooth/Wireless and audio drivers.
    3. Restart Windows.
    4. Remove the failed Audibel entries and repeat the pairing procedure.^3^

If the PC and hearing aids are both confirmed as LE Audio-capable and still cannot pair, contact Audibel or the hearing-care professional with the exact model/generation and firmware version. If either side lacks LE Audio, ask Audibel whether a compatible intermediary streaming accessory is available for that model.
