A web-based tool in Microsoft 365 that enables users to quickly create surveys, quizzes, polls, and feedback forms.
Dear Tammy Hollands,
If the form was created in a SharePoint document library, you can edit it from there:
- Open your SharePoint site and go to Documents.
- Select Forms on the toolbar at the top of the library.
- Select the form you want to edit.
- Make your changes to the questions, then save.
If your form is displayed on a SharePoint page through the Microsoft Forms web part, you can edit it from there:
- Open the SharePoint page that contains the form and select Edit at the top right.
- Select the Microsoft Forms web part, then select Properties (the pencil icon).
- In the panel on the right, select Edit current form. Microsoft Forms will open in a new browser tab, where you can edit, add, or reorder your questions.
- Return to the SharePoint page, select OK in the properties panel, and republish the page if prompted.
Please note that deleting a question may also delete the responses already collected for it. If you need to keep earlier answers, it is safer to keep the existing question and add a new one.
If Edit current form is not available, being able to view the responses does not always mean you can edit the form. You need to be the form owner or an assigned co-author. In that case, please ask the owner to open the form in Microsoft Forms, select Share, and under Add collaborators, give your account permission to view and edit. They can then send you the collaboration link.
