I have problems changing my credit card information.

Also when I change my billing address, it does not allow me to change from Texas to California.

Thank you.

For a Microsoft 365 personal subscription, update the payment method in the Microsoft account payment settings:

    1. Sign in to Payment options at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments.
    2. Find the payment method.
    3. Select View or edit card.
    4. Update the card details and select Save.

If the payment is being declined, verify:

    • Card number, expiration date, name on the card, and billing address match the bank records exactly.
    • There are sufficient funds or credit available.
    • The bank or card provider is not blocking the transaction.

For a Microsoft 365 work account, payment methods are managed in Microsoft 365 admin center under Billing > Payment methods, and billing permissions are required.

For the billing address issue from Texas to California: changing the billing address does not apply to an existing active subscription. Existing subscriptions can continue to show the previous billing address. The documented resolution is to cancel the current subscription, change the billing address, and then repurchase the subscription.

If the option to add or edit payment methods is missing, billing permission may be required.
