to see and disable things such as:

"For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device"

and

"Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

you have to SIGN IN in Settings -> Accounts, on very top of the page, after that restart you PC and then you can disable pin and password on windows startup!

    Hi Jevgenij Bu,

Thanks for posting your solution. Your finding that completing the account sign-in under Settings > Accounts and restarting the PC restored access to the PIN/password options is valuable additional information.

Hopefully, this helps others experiencing the same behavior. Appreciate you sharing the workaround with the community.

To remove PIN or password-based sign-in options in Windows 11, the supported path is:

    1. Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
    2. Under Additional settings, turn off For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device.
    3. If the Remove option for PIN (Windows Hello) was unavailable before, reopen the Sign-in options page and check again.
    4. If a work or school account is connected, go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, disconnect that account if it is still listed, then restart the PC and try again.

Relevant behavior from Windows support content:

    • The Only allow Windows Hello sign-in setting disables the use of passwords for a Microsoft account on that device.
    • Sign-in options can vary based on device configuration.
    • PIN, picture password, and security key options are managed from Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
