Contact Pearson VUE Support and ask them to check for and remove a scheduling block on your Microsoft Certification testing account before attempting another card payment.
Repeated unsuccessful payments followed by an error after submitting address details closely matches cases where Pearson VUE applied an account block; once Pearson VUE cleared the block, scheduling worked again.^1^
What to do
- Do not keep retrying different cards, because this will not resolve an account-level scheduling block.
- Open the official Credentials support page and select Pearson VUE Support under For Exam appointment and scheduling issues.^2^
- Tell Pearson VUE:
- Multiple payment attempts were rejected.
- The error now occurs after entering your address on Microsoft Learn.
- You need them to check whether the account has a VUE-wide or scheduling block and remove it.
- Provide your Pearson VUE candidate ID privately if requested.
- Check the error page’s address bar. If it contains
ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK, include that exact code in the support request. This code is specifically associated with a Pearson VUE account block, commonly following failed payments.^3^ - After Pearson VUE confirms that the block has been removed, return to the correct exam page in Microsoft Learn and choose Schedule exam → Schedule with Pearson VUE. Confirm that the exam identifier is correct—the code written as “AI-10,3” may contain a typing error.
Microsoft Learn collects the address, telephone number, and contact email before transferring the booking to Pearson VUE. Your Learn profile’s legal name must also match your legal identification.^4^
If Pearson VUE cannot remove the block
Submit a Microsoft Credentials Support request from the same Credentials support page:
- Select Learning as the product family.
- Select Microsoft Credentials as the product or service.
- Choose the category closest to exam scheduling.
- Select Professional No Charge.
- Choose Email and attach:
- A screenshot of the error.
- The complete error code or URL, with personal information removed.
- Your Learn username.
- The exact exam code.
- Pearson VUE’s response or case number.
Credentials Support is the appropriate fallback when Pearson VUE confirms the account is clear, cannot remove the restriction, or says the failure is in the Microsoft Learn handoff.^2^
