Hello all,

I have tried multiple devices, networks, browsers, debit cards, and credit cards, and my account continues to fail telling me to verify details. I am not sure what to do to fix this, but it's preventing me from activating my account. Any idea who can look into this/fix my account for me?

    Hi @Todd Senkel

When Azure keeps saying "verify your details" no matter which card or device you use, the problem is usually the account profile, not the card. Microsoft's sign-up troubleshooting points to three things:

    1. Profile details: the name, email, street address and phone number on the Microsoft account must be correct and consistent. Use the same country throughout and your full legal name.
    2. Card details: the card must be in your name and match the billing address you entered. Changing cards won't help if the address or name on the profile is what's failing.
    3. Existing accounts: if another Microsoft account already uses the same details (for example an older Outlook or Xbox account), the check can fail. Try signing up with that account instead.

Then try once more in a private browser window with any VPN or ad blocker turned off.

Because a failed sign-up leaves you without a subscription, the portal won't let you open a support ticket. Microsoft's sign-up guide lists the @AzureSupport account on X as a route in that case. Please don't post your card or address details here.

Is this a personal Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail or Gmail sign-in), or a work or school account?

If the sign-up goes through, please consider accepting it as the answer. If it still asks you to verify details, let me know and I'll be happy to keep helping.
