Azure Virtual Desktop Hybrid and Service Fee

Ran a trial of Azure Virtual Desktop Hybrid with some on-prem VMs for a couple of months and things went well. Is there any additional information, preferably from an official source on the "Service Fee" being $10 per named user per month? We were considering AVD Hybrid as a replacement for our full desktops in Omnissa Horizon, but the $10 per user per month on top of the 365 licensing per user makes this a more difficult choice. On our Azure bill we do not have any $10 charges so was wondering when/where this shows up and more information about it.

    Hi Nick,

There's not much in the way of official guidance on this. There is a link here: https://aka.ms/AVDHybridPerUserPricing which mentions the $10 user/month pricing (below). I can tell you that these are purchased as seat-based licenses the same way as any M365 licenses and with the usual monthly and annual options available. Therefore, these will not be automatically added to your Azure bill but you must license each individual user for compliance purposes.
