    Greetings!

This is Tin, sorry to hear that your OneDrive app is crashing on your iPhone 13. Have you tried to reinstall the OneDrive app already? If not, please try to reinstall it. Please also make sure that your iOS is up to date to the best version for your phone.

To reinstall, please hold and press the OneDrive app then click Remove App. Then go to App Store and look for OneDrive then reinstall.

    Thanks,

    Tin

Delete OneDrive completely, force-restart the iPhone 13, and then reinstall OneDrive—the official Microsoft procedure for an iOS app that closes or crashes shortly after launch.^1^

    Reinstall OneDrive cleanly

    1. Delete the app rather than offloading it
      • Press and hold the OneDrive icon.
      • Select Remove App → Delete App → Delete.
      • Deleting may remove downloaded/offline copies and local app settings. Files already stored in OneDrive remain in the cloud.
    2. Force-restart the iPhone 13
      • Press and quickly release Volume Up.
      • Press and quickly release Volume Down.
      • Hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears, then release it.
    3. Reinstall OneDrive
      • Open the App Store, search for Microsoft OneDrive, and install it again.
      • Sign in with the same Microsoft account.
      • Confirm that the app remains open and displays the Home or Files screen.
    4. Enable background operation
      • Open Settings → General → Background App Refresh.
      • Ensure Background App Refresh is enabled and the switch for OneDrive is on. Microsoft includes this in its iOS crash procedure.^1^

    If it still closes

    • If the iPhone is running a beta version of iOS, update to the latest stable public iOS release before testing again; compatibility problems are expected with prerelease operating systems.^2^
    • For a personal OneDrive account, use Contact Microsoft Support from the support page below and report:
      • iPhone 13 model
      • iOS version
      • OneDrive app version
      • that the app closes approximately five seconds after launch
      • whether the clean reinstall changed the behavior
    • For a work or school account, contact the organization’s IT administrator or service desk.^1^
