Is there a BUG? I cannot save my files on Office 2021 from yesterday

I paid for an office perpetual license in 2021 (Version 16.114.1 (26102031)) and running on a MacBook Air M2 running with macOS Sequoia 15.7.2. Since yesterday, I cannot save all my office files. I understand that Office 2021 is "going off support" issue but does that mean I CANNOT save as well? That sounds wrong. Please help, thanks.

the issue is the latest office 2021 update breaks the app. as office 2021 is out of support, it not clear any fix to this update will be released. the work around is to install the previous version, and disable updates. you will need to reset the license. see this thread:

Users are reporting that version 16.114.3 is working properly. The release notes for 16.114.3 seem to confirm this.
