Hello Hana,
It sounds like OneDrive’s Camera Upload was enabled, so it automatically copied your iPhone’s camera roll to OneDrive. This is normally a one-way upload, so you can remove the OneDrive copies without deleting the originals from your iPhone.
Please note that OneDrive does not provide a built-in option to filter photos by the phone or device that uploaded them. Photos can be organized by date, location, file type, or tags, but they cannot be filtered specifically to show only those uploaded from that iPhone.
However, here are some suggestions you can try:
- First, open the OneDrive app on your iPhone, select your profile picture, then go to Settings > Camera Upload and turn it off. This stops the photos from being uploaded again.
- Next, it may be easier to use a computer. Sign in to the OneDrive website, open My files > Pictures > Camera Roll, and check that this folder contains the unwanted iPhone photos. Check the photos carefully before deleting anything, as this folder may also contain older uploads or photos added from another device. Select the photos in bulk or select the entire Camera Roll folder if you want to remove everything uploaded from the phone, then choose Delete.
Tip: To delete the photos faster, use the selection circle beside a date heading to select all photos from that day or month, then delete them in batches. If everything in the Camera Roll folder is unwanted, you can select and delete all the files together, but first check that the folder does not contain any older uploads or photos that were added manually.
- Before deleting, confirm that the original photos are still visible in the iPhone’s Apple Photos app.
- Finally, open the OneDrive Recycle bin and permanently delete those items to free the storage. The storage amount may take a little time to update.
Hope this could help. Feel free to post back if you have any further questions.
