purchased new computer with 365 personal but in process of setting up computer have accidentally purchased premium subcription as well,

i have cancelled the subscription and want a refund for the Premium fee and then will put in my personal key purchase to complete

who do i contact ?

If you have cancelled the Premium subscription, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund which may take up to 5 business days to be credited to your account., you can check your eligibility to a refund using the steps on this link.

If the Premium subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft, the refund path is through the cancellation flow and Microsoft Support.

Sign in to Services & subscriptions with the same Microsoft account that purchased the Premium subscription.
Find the Premium subscription and select Manage.
If it is already canceled, refund eligibility is determined automatically during cancellation. Not all cancellations result in a refund.
For direct help, go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter the billing issue, select Get Help, and then Contact Support.

Important checks:

If the subscription was bought through Microsoft, options like Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appear on the subscription page.
If it was bought through a third party such as Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Best Buy, or another retailer, billing and refunds must be handled by that provider directly.
In most cases, a refund may be available within 30 days of the initial purchase or before the first recurring billing date, whichever is sooner.
If no refund is issued, access to Microsoft 365 usually continues until the end of the current billing period.

Since the Premium subscription has already been canceled, the correct contact is Microsoft Support billing/contact support if Microsoft charged it directly.
