Hi!
You managed to resolve the issue with the locked account, but you still can't access Windows because of the other problem, right? Or did you manage to access Windows, but are now unable to validate your account?
On some motherboards, a BIOS update can reset or disable the TPM and Secure Boot, both of which are essential for PINs and passwords to work in Windows. Please answer the question above, and also perform the test below:
- Access your computer's BIOS. Turn on the computer > Immediately press the F2 key until you enter the BIOS.
- Do not stop pressing the key until you enter the BIOS interface, or a message "Entering Setup" appears.
- Some computers use other keys to access the BIOS. Also try: DEL (DELETE), ESC, F4, F10.
- Use the arrow keys on the keyboard and look for the options "TPM 2.0" and "Secure Boot". Confirm that they are in the "Enabled" status.
- The BIOS interface varies according to the motherboard or notebook manufacturer.
- If one of the options is disabled, press the ENTER key on the selected option > Select "Enabled" > Press the F10 key > Select "Save and Exit".
- If the F10 key was not pressed, look for the "Save and Exit" option.
