How can I cancel my Minecraft Realms subscription without access to the Microsoft account it is linked to?

The account has been compromised, and the login details have been changed. I have already contacted Minecraft Support and Klarna, but both have directed me elsewhere. I have been charged €7.19 twice, and I want to prevent any further charges. I am not requesting account recovery or a refund; I only want the subscription cancelled.

Can Microsoft Support cancel the subscription manually or escalate my request to the appropriate billing team? I can provide the Microsoft order references as proof of payment.

I’m not looking to retrieve the account, i just want to cancel the subscription because im paying for it. But i lost acces to the account and i already tried to retrieve it, but that is not possible with the lack of information i have.

I see. Thank you for your response. Please contact Xbox Support, as I recommended above. If possible, please try to lock or freeze your card or payment method, then dispute it with your current bank. Request blocking the recurring payment, and ask if there is advice on replacing your card.

I already tried that, im paying trough Klarna. They told me i have to cancel at microsoft and microsoft only tells me i need to retrieve the account. So im going around in a circle. I have the payment references, how is that not enough to cancel a minecraft realms subscription

I see. It seems that you have already contacted Microsoft. Unfortunately, as Microsoft support says, you need to recover your account to be able to cancel the subscription. That would be the only way to cancel your subscription.
