A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
On Android, the normal upload flow is:
- Open the OneDrive app.
- Tap the (+) icon at the bottom.
- Select Upload.
- Choose the files from the device.
If the screen says “select to upload files to this location” but there is no button to tap, try these checks:
- Browse to the destination folder first, then use Upload again. For a specific folder, the destination folder must be open before uploading.
- Check whether the file is open in another app. If OneDrive cannot access the file, save changes, close the other app, and try again.
- Check the file path length. If the file name plus path is too long, it must be fewer than 442 characters.
- Check available storage in OneDrive. In Android, open Menu > Settings and tap the account name to see total and available storage.
- If the app is not behaving correctly, reset the Android app:
- Open Settings.
- Select Applications.
- Tap Manage Applications.
- Find and tap OneDrive.
- Tap Force Stop, then Clear data and Clear cache.
- Uninstall OneDrive.
- Reinstall it from Google Play.
If the issue is only with camera/photo upload, turn off Camera backup in OneDrive settings, rename the Camera Roll folder on the OneDrive website, confirm the network connection is working, then turn Camera backup back on.
