Good morning

On both the PC version, AND on the android versions, while playing the daily event under the Microsoft Solitaire Collection of solitaire, when checking the leaderboard during play of the daily event, it does not update the leaderboard real time, like it used to. Instead, it only whos the final leaderboard from th day before. once the daily event has been fully completed, the leaderboard updates to the latest status. This never happened before, but has been going on for a week or so, now.

In the past, when checking the leaderboard while playing the event, it always showed my current status and position, now only can see the previous day's leaderboard, unless I complete all games

PLEASE FIXX THIS AND RETURN IT TO REAL TIME STATUS

    Hello R J,

I can understand why this change is disappointing, since the live leaderboard makes it easier to follow your progress and position while an Event is still in progress.

Microsoft has acknowledged this behavior on the official Microsoft Casual Games known-issues page. The notice confirms that the leaderboard can remain on the previous day’s results until the current Event has been completed, and that a correction is planned for an upcoming game update. However, a release date has not yet been provided.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum, so community contributors cannot directly change the game or access its back-end systems. Keeping the game updated and monitoring the official status page would be the most appropriate next steps while the correction is being prepared. Thank you so much for your understanding.

This is an acknowledged Microsoft Solitaire Collection issue, and the current resolution is to install the upcoming game update when released; until then, the Event leaderboard may show the previous day’s score until the current Event is completed.^1^

    Current status

    • The documented symptom matches yours on Windows and Android: the leaderboard does not display the current Event score during play.
    • Completing the Event causes the leaderboard to update to the current score.
    • Microsoft says it is working on a fix for an upcoming game update, but no release date or separate workaround is listed.^1^
    • Because this occurs on both devices in the same way, resetting or reinstalling only the Windows app is unlikely to restore real-time updates while the acknowledged issue remains.

    What to do

    1. Continue using Event completion as the temporary workaround.
    2. Check the official Casual Games known-issues page for a status change.
    3. Install Microsoft Solitaire Collection updates when offered:
      • Windows: Microsoft Store → Library → Get updates.
      • Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Manage apps & device → Updates available.
    4. After an update, start a new Event and check whether the leaderboard changes before all games are completed.

    Report or add your experience

On Windows, press Windows logo key + F to open Feedback Hub, select Report a problem, search for an existing Solitaire leaderboard report, and upvote or add details. If none exists, create one and include:

    • “Microsoft Solitaire Collection Event leaderboard shows previous day until Event completion”
    • Windows and Android app versions
    • When the problem began
    • A screenshot taken during an incomplete Event and another after completion

Feedback Hub supports searching, upvoting, attaching screenshots, and recording reproduction steps.^2^
