    Hello Sarah,

I understand you are having trouble creating a business email after purchasing your domain. Please note that purchasing a domain name alone does not provide email hosting; you must also have an active Microsoft 365 Business subscription with available licenses.

Here are the steps to check and create your business email:

    1. Verify Your Licenses: Ensure you have an active Microsoft 365 Business plan (such as Business Basic, Standard, or Premium) that includes Exchange Online.

    2. Check Domain Status: Log in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center (admin.microsoft.com). Go to Settings > Domains and make sure your custom domain is added and its status shows as "Healthy".

    3. Create the Email Account (Add a User): In the Admin Center, navigate to Users > Active users and select Add a user. Fill in the required details, select your custom domain from the drop-down menu for the email address, and make sure you assign an active product license to this new user.

If you encounter any specific error messages while trying to add the user, please reply with the error details so we can assist you further!
