A professional diagramming tool that helps users visualize complex information through easy-to-understand diagrams.
The Home > Arrange > Align > Align Center command is designed to align multiple selected shapes relative to each other. For example, if you select two or more shapes, Align Center aligns them along their horizontal centers. When only a single object is selected, the alignment options may be unavailable or grayed out.
Although you typed the text directly onto the Visio page, Visio treats it as a text object. The Align Center command does not center a single text object on the page.
To center your text on the page, try the following:
- Press Esc to exit text-editing mode.
- Select Home > Tools > Pointer Tool.
- Click the text once to select its text box.
- Enable View > Rulers or guides.
- Drag the text box until it is centered on the page.
For more precise positioning, open View > Task Panes > Size & Position and adjust the text object's horizontal position based on the page width and the text box width.
