Hi mark,
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. My role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.
mcseedmap.com can be useful as a planning reference, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed exact copy of your Minecraft world. It is a third-party tool and is not an official Mojang or Microsoft service.
Before relying on the map, make sure that:
- The seed was entered correctly, including any minus sign.
- The correct edition, Java or Bedrock, is selected.
- The selected game version matches the version that generated the relevant chunks.
- The correct dimension is selected.
- The world does not use mods, add-ons, data packs, or custom world-generation settings.
Biome layouts may be reasonably close when these details match, but shorelines and terrain details can vary. Structure markers should also be treated as possible locations rather than a guarantee, particularly on Bedrock Edition or after world-generation changes.
For a base location, the map should be helpful for initial planning. For a village or another important structure, it would be best to verify the coordinates in a Creative copy of the world before committing resources in Survival. Thank you so much for your understanding.
