To identify a recurring Microsoft charge like MICROSOFT#G178783631 MSBILL.INFO WA, use these checks:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft account dashboard and review Order history and Services & subscriptions for a matching amount and billing date.
    2. Go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate if the charge is not recognized.
    3. Common causes of recurring Microsoft charges include:
      • a subscription with recurring billing turned on
      • a charge retried after a previous decline
      • a purchase made by a family member using the card
      • an in-app purchase
    4. If a subscription was already cancelled, a charge can still appear if the cancellation was made less than 2 days before the billing date, or if the charge belongs to a different Microsoft account.
    5. If the charge still cannot be identified and there is concern that the card information was compromised, contact the bank or card provider to prevent additional charges.
    6. If more help is needed, use Contact Microsoft Support and select Get Help, then Contact Support.

    Dear Martha,

Being charged every month for a subscription you can't find is confusing, and I'm sorry you're dealing with it. Unfortunately, as a forum moderator, I am not able to look up which account your card is linked to. My role here is limited to providing general guidance you can apply from your side.

A charge reference starting with G usually indicates a business (commercial) subscription. These are managed through the Microsoft 365 admin center, not a personal Microsoft account page. When a business subscription is set up, a work account is created in the format ******@yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com, which is usually different from your everyday email address. That's why the subscription may not appear when you sign in with your personal account.

To find the account, please search any email addresses you may have used, including the Junk and Archive folders, for messages from Microsoft around the date of the first charge. Welcome emails and invoices usually show the account name used to create the subscription, which is the one you'll need to sign in with.

Once you've identified it, sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Billing > Your products to see what the subscription is for. If you don't need it, you can cancel it from there.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to your reply.
