Unfortunately, you cannot directly change the billing currency for your subscription between regions. If you moved to another country and wish to pay in the local currency there, you will need to cancel your Microsoft 365 Basic subscription purchased in Canada and purchase a new subscription in your current country or region. (USA)

First, please cancel your Microsoft 365 Basic subscription from this Microsoft account.

After your recurring billing ends and your subscription expires, you can purchase a Microsoft 365 subscription again using the same account and payment method in your current country or region. You will not lose any personal files or apps in this process. Microsoft provides a 30-day grace period after your subscription ends, during which you can reactivate it. Your account will only be frozen if you do not renew your subscription within that period. Therefore, there will be no problem purchasing a new subscription immediately after your current subscription ends.
