I mistakenly subscribed to Microsoft 365 and I can't find it in my account. It may have gone to an old email that no longer exists. I need to cancel it so I can apply for refund. Thanks.

Hi,

You cannot buy a subscription for an account if you are not logged in. In your case, the payment may have failed, and the system will automatically reverse it within a few days.

That said, if you bought a keycard, it is a different case (though the same rule applies here too: you can only redeem it when you're logged in).

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you good luck!

To check refund eligibility, the subscription must be canceled first.

    Try this path first:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account that may have been used to buy the subscription.
    2. Look for the subscription and select Manage.
    3. Select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel, then follow the prompts.
    4. If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire and no further cancellation action is required.

If the subscription does not appear:

    1. Verify the purchase source. If it was bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refunds must be handled through that store. If it was bought from a third-party retailer such as Amazon, Best Buy, or Harvey Norman, billing must be managed with that retailer.
    2. Make sure the sign-in uses the same Microsoft personal account that purchased Microsoft 365.
    3. If there is an overdue amount or an expired payment card on the subscription, cancellation cannot be completed until the balance is paid.

If access to the old account is no longer possible and the subscription cannot be found or canceled, use Microsoft support:
