    Try these steps in order:

    1. Restart the PC.
      • A restart can fix Gaming Services or sign-in components that are stuck in a bad state.
    2. Make sure Windows is fully updated.
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
      • Install all important updates, then restart.
    3. Update Microsoft Store.
      • Open Microsoft Store.
      • Select See more > Downloads and updates > Get updates.
    4. Reset Microsoft Store.
      • Press Windows key + R.
      • Run wsreset.exe.
      • Wait for Microsoft Store to reopen.
    5. Reinstall Gaming Services.
      • Open PowerShell as Administrator.
      • Run:
             get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

      • In the same PowerShell window, run:
             start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

      • Install Gaming Services from the Store page that opens.
      • Then try installing or launching Minecraft again.
    6. If the Xbox app seems outdated, update or reinstall it.
      • In some cases, an old Xbox app can block game install or launch.
      • Open PowerShell as Administrator and run:
             get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxApp | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
             start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9mv0b5hzvk9z

      • Reinstall the Xbox app from the Store.
    7. If Microsoft Store apps still fail, repair or reinstall the app from Microsoft Store > My Library.
    8. If Gaming Services shows errors like 0x80073D26 or 0x8007139F, install the Windows update KB5004476. If that still does not fix it, Microsoft provides a Gaming Services repair workaround. Note: that workaround removes Gaming Services and deletes related registry keys, so it should be used carefully and only as written.

If the issue is only happening with Minecraft and Store/Xbox installs are otherwise working, also verify the game still appears under Microsoft Store > My Library > All owned.
